Project country boat:
Is a open source collaboration of people who want to fix an old damaged boat and sail the Caribbean coast.
Our plan is a 5 year period to get your boat, do the restoration and document the journey!
The trip will consist of a 90 day sail from Fort Pierce Florida around the Bahamas and the Island chain back to Miami Florida.
We will have 12 stops on the island chains for R & R as the party sails for the summer. We plan to launch our endeavor June 1, 2026 and sail for 90 days of fun and vacation!
The reason this is called project country boat is because I live in a rural area with nothing but farm land no oceans or sailing here! I have some land where I can park and work on a damaged vessel.
